MEET ERIN

Originally from the Detroit - Metro area, I first picked up photography in college. While backpacking I would lug my father's very heavy Pentax Spotmatic that he purchased in 1968 everywhere I went and try to capture the beauty I saw all around my in photos. Landscape photography was an easy way to start since my subject didn't move.

As I have grown in my photography I truly enjoy the challenge and reward of capturing the feel, personality, and beauty of people in pictures. So often people don't like having their picture taken because they don't think they are photogenic. But when you capture that authentic and natural expression their beauty shines through. It is such a joy to bring out the best in people in pictures.
